With our 14+ Driving Course in Exeter, not only will you get the chance to get behind the wheel of a car, you will also develop an awareness for road safety. You will have a better understanding of the capabilities of motor vehicles, which will raise their awareness as a road user, be it a pedestrian, cyclist or driver.
The course is not just a Have a Go driving experience. You will learn the basics of clutch control, gear changing and approaching junctions in the safety of an off road site. This will help ensure that when you reach an age when you can go on the road it will be a safer, more enjoyable and productive experience.
Unlike learning off road with family or friends these lessons are in dual controlled car with a Driving Standards Agency licensed driving instructor covered by full insurance.

14+ Driving Preparation Course £199
This Driving course in Exeter is restricted to those who are over 14 due to insurance restrictions at the off road site used. This site is set up with actual road conditions including basic junctions, traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, mini roundabout, etc. The course includes 5 hours of one to one tuition at the site. The cost £199. Subjects covered on the course include;
- The cockpit Drill
- Moving off and stopping
- Use of gears
- Steering exercises
- Coordination of foot and hand controls
- Straight line reversing
- The emergency stop
- Clutch control and hill starts
- Hazard Drill and basic Junctions
